Biopharmaceutical firm Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. Thursday
reported a higher third-quarter profit, driven mainly
by the sales of its blood thinner drug Plavix, Bipolar disorder drug Abilify as well as cancer drugs Sprycel
and Yervoy. Adjusted earnings
and revenues topped analysts' expectations. The company
also raised its earnings forecast for the full-year 2011.
