DBSA Chapters/Support Groups Birmington – 2nd and 4th Thurs. of every month. 6:30-8:00pm, Crisis Center Description: Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) mission is to help people with mood disorders and their families by offering education and support. DBSA meets every Thursday at 6:00pm at the United Way building on Andrew Jackson Way. The National web site is www.DBSAlliance.org. Fact sheets, newsletters, chat rooms, physician locators, and a support group directory for each state are also provided on this site. Meetup.com helps people find others who share their interest or cause (like bipolar disorder), get involved on-line and locally, and form lasting, influential, local community groups that regularly meet face-to-face.
