Hi, Michelle --

It is so good to hear from you. I'm glad things are getting better for you now that you're back on your meds - I know that wasn't an easy decision to make. Bless that new baby of yours, and bless you.

Blessings,
Michele

I REALLY wish somebody could wave a wand and make it go away. I was doing really well postpartum, and then the hormones got back to normal or something. Or maybe it was my little guys refusal to nurse unless I was lying down the entire Christmas break. Whatever the reason, I started having a hard time again, and noticed myself start to cycle. My version of the wand was picking up the phone and calling my doctor. So I started taking the meds again, in my case the benefits outweigh potential risk while nursing.

On those bad days, I'm thankful for good friends who don't judge me because I'm bipolar. I'm thankful for good friends who live with someone that's bipolar and can help my husband understand me better. And I'm thankful that my dear husband has started emptying the dishwasher because then I actually load it. On those bad days just getting to mark something off my list is a huge achievement, and dishes is always on the list. :-) And on the good days, I'm thankful for the fact that it's a good day, and that I can be the happy mom my kids deserve. And now I'm glad that I made the call and am back on the meds, because now I should have far more good days!
