Reality, Bipolar-Style

Liam Neesan said, in Star Wars, "Our focus determines our reality". And even for bipolars, there are things that can be learned through that statement.
I live alone, and when I am in the house,I seem to experience one"reality", and I have gotten myself into a Pattern while here. That can Quickly change the minute I step out my back door: when I leave in the morning to go to work, my mind adjusts to “function”, or “work” mode. When I go outside late in the evening to just Stand there, or look at the stars, I switch into Quiet mode, or “wonder” mode….
Yes, it’s more than that. It’s the grooves created in the brain, the Pattern that does indeed determine our focus, and even varying the slightest bit can alter our perceived reality. I know that even taking a different route to work can change me. It’s slightly Unnerving; I wonder if “normal” people go through this or whether it IS bipolar in nature. That one, I don’t know.
During a 6-month period of unemployment, I went through a depression, and even going to my front room was like being on another planet! My entire world shrank to the distance from the bedroom, to the bathroom, to the den and the kitchen. Going Anywhere became a chore. My focus was Entirely skewed, but I understand why.
Now going to the front room to clean, or work, or heading out the back door (which is in the front room, lol) doesn’t faze me; it’s like I have become desensitized to the feelings I had during depression.
We really do create our realities.Yes, there are going to be bleed-throughs, setbacks, breakdowns and stuff. It’s Bipolar, and it happens. But the more we focus Inwardly, the harder it is to move back out.
