I'm glad you have visited my site because this site provides the most comprehensive collection of information related to bipolar disorder. Whether you or a loved one has bipolar disorder, you need this information now and you won't find most of it on any other site. How did I get to know so much? Well, that's a long story and to learn the details, I invite you to read my bio. However, I can tell you that I grew up with a mother who had bipolar disorder and that when her situation recently became much worse, I decided to put everything on hold to find out more about the disorder so that I could help her become stable.

What I learned from helping my mother was that there are many, many topics that most books, articles, and web sites don't discuss - debt, finances, personal development, health - that are critical to your or your loved one's success against the disorder. That's why I've included all of this information here so that it is readily available to you whenever you need it.

As you read through the site - and I hope that you will - you'll notice that my opinions don't always agree with what some experts and doctors say. That's because most of those experts and doctors have NEVER lived with someone who has it.

But the site isn't about questioning the opinions of so-called experts, it's about helping you learn from my mistakes so that you don't have to waste years and thousands of dollars in order to discover the secrets to getting the disorder under control. That's the goal of this web site and of all my work.

Supporter Checklist

Summertime is here, and many parents of children with bipolar disorder are getting ready to send their children to camp, so checklists are on the minds of many supporters at this time. This made me think of the following checklist.

Many supporters are NOT supporters of children - they are supporters of adult loved ones. So the following is a checklist for supporters of adult loved ones who have bipolar disorder, written in the same way as a “Camp Checklist”:
